Things will get better for the rest of the world because when you don't have money in the wrong hands, it's better for everyone.

I read it.. Should have known better... Went back to his thinly masked mantra that is the United States fault and Western Europe... And basically everyone else ... Except the people committing the acts.

Oh almost forgot Chow doesn't have a valid perspective because... He was raised Muslim and then... Became a soldier... A real stretch coming... But had to find some way to disqualify Chow because he doesn't like his opinion.

I'm all for parades, but cancelling a gay parade is generally in the best interest of the sanctity of the local community as a whole. Germany is a place of strong Christian values from the days of Martin Luther. I would assume there are many impressionable youths in that area of Northern Germany.

Ha! Of course. It's my thinly masked mantra. That's why the entire middle east as well as most of the world agrees with it. Iraq was our fault :( and the subsequent fallout aka ISIS and Al Qaeda is because of Islam. That's why all of Latin America agrees with it. Oh and most Africans believe colonizers are to blame for the majority of these particular problems. Oh I forgot also the entire left wing and most centrists in the rest of the world and much of Western Europe and America as well.

The only thinkly veiled bull**** is that neo-liberal religion you bandy about to make yourself feel better about how extensively you've contributed to the destruction of freedoms, institutions, lives, futures in a region encompassing 300+ million people. South America was part of the US plan as well, but it's doing much better than the middle east today. Why do you think that is? Why is terrorism rampant in parts of south america where the US has meddled? Why has south america been able to recover faster than the Middle East from the damage done by colonialism? Shall we bring up the maps? Do you really think, looking back in history, that US/British presence in the Middle East is a reaction to increased Islamic violence or is increased Islamic violence a reaction to US/UK presence?

How is it that every loosely democratically elected leader, every leftist, every centrist, every revolutionary movement, every conservative movement, every extremist movement, every single institution except the totalitarian/dictators state clearly their opposition to US presence in the region as a main motivation? How is it that all Middle Easterners, regardless of religion, agree that the US - not Iran, not nuclear armed Israel - is the greatest threat to their freedom?

Fyi ask chow about his experience with Islam in his household which he's openly spoken about in the past. It's not because he was Muslim, but because of the way Islam was applied in his family. Of course being a soldier is discrediting, lol he's going to war to murder people in a foreign country to protect against a risk to Americans no greater than the sharp edges of their own furniture.

As I've said before, colonizing Muslims will always result in more violence because Islam is a religion born out of the principles of rebellion and revolution. This is a good thing. I don't like a lot of things about the practice of Islam these days, but at least that's a principle which is worth honoring even if today's dictator-funded islamic scholars try to bury that part of Islam as deep as possible. Historically in Islam, they are supposed to aim for the head of the snake, and not the minion representative of the head of the snake over here. As you saw in Egypt, there's no point trying to deal with these issues locally as long as you guys do not withdraw from your position of supporting a corrupt military.

Meanwhile your new buddy in Egypt has killed and jailed more innocent people than the incompetent predecessor ever could have dreamed of. Most of you don't even know it yet, and obviously your news is saying it's because.... Islam.

    Of course it is.

    Even Bassem Yousef gets it.

So, please, f*** gradually off and stop blaming the Middle East for your inability to control German on German crime. You're acting like a victim and you're GERMANY. If I say anything that puts the Middle East in the position of victims, you guys are up in arms.

Remember: Mathloom was raised to believe that Shiism was "invented by an undercover Jew" and that the "life of a non-Muslim is worth much less than the life of a Muslim". That's the mindset the person we are dealing with here comes from.

    You don't believe me?

He did say that he now considers it ridiculous. But it puts the things he says into context. It's probably hard to imagine for most posters here that beliefs like that are widespread and taught to children. It's the fertile ground on which something like ISIS can grow. Mathloom himself says these beliefs are very common.

That statement stuck with me because it is telling in many ways: 1) tells you about how Sunnis and Salafis view Shiites, 2) the Jew is once again portrayed as sub-human, as the "root of all evil" in the eyes of Sunni Muslims, 3) Sunni Muslims will believe all kinds of bull**** in an "us vs. them" way where "them" includes pretty much everyone who doesn't believe in the exact same ideology they do.

Now if you think about it, it is understandable that Mathloom contorts himself and goes to great lengths to defend the world view he has been brought up and brainwashed with that it's "them" (everyone but Sunni Muslim Arabs, and especially Jews/Israel/USA/the West) who is the source of all problems...even when an objective observer would strongly disagree and correctly point out that it's the very ideology Mathloom has been brought up with that is the actual problem.

Mathloom is not an outlier with these beliefs. In fact, I think he is more intelligent than the average person with his upbringing, and he already asks a lot more questions than the average person brought up in a similarly repressive ideological environment. But in the end, the brainwash is really, really strong with people who grew up being taught that ideology, and one can still strongly tell from Mathloom's posts.

    It is.

    Because no Islam.

Because corrupt dictatorships, drug trade and not enough rule of law.

    Because no Islam.

Neither. Increased Islamic violence has its roots in the history and ideology of Islam. The founder was a violent, pedophile war lord, and his people were violent murderers. ISIS is just continuing on that path. US/British presence in the Middle East is and was for geopolitical reasons.

Because you guys need scapegoats for your own failures and the cluster**** that your ideology represents.

Because you guys are brainwashed from an early age, ignorant and uneducated, and due to your totalitarian "us vs. them" ideology completely unable to take personal responsibility for your own dramatic failures.

He was protecting freedom. That's more than could be said about you working for a totalitarian dictatorship, and then running your mouth. Thank you for your service fchowd311.

That is not a good thing. That's like saying Nazi fascism was a revolutionary movement and that's a good thing.

Historically in Islam, the founder of the cult and his minions were murderers who cut people's heads off.

He is dealing with a terrorist threat. As such, he is fighting for the free world. Does he always respect human rights the way he should while doing so? Probably not. But the threat is very large, and has widespread support in the population. Probably the only way to deal with it is with an iron fist, otherwise you will have a situation like in Libya.

You should watch more Bassem Yousef...if he were still on. Bassem Yousef is a Muslim I can whole-heartedly support, because he has a sense of humor, wits and is very brave. Too bad that from where you stand, Bassem Yousef is very far on the other side.

It's just as likely or more likely that the terror threats came from non-Germans if it is an Islamist terror threat. Might have been immigrants from the Arab world. We don't know. In any case, the terror threat would have come from a Muslim, since it was an Islamist terror threat. So if you want to label it like you did, you can label it Muslim on German crime.

What a load of hoar****. Your argument's premise basically is "Islam is a religion, thus should not be prone to criticism because any religion can be used for violence".

Islam is a set of beliefs and ideas. It's an ideology just like any other religion with a set of beliefs and ideas. And not all religions propagate equally bad ideas. Last time I checked no ideology is infallible and all ideologies are prone to scrutiny. Instead of addressing non-sequitur assertions that have nothing to do with the statement that I made I want you to explicitly address this statement: At it's core Islam is inherently flawed morally since it propagates a notion that a man who lived around 600AD who had sex with a child, ordered the execution of poets for the crime of satire and kept sex slaves is considered the most perfect Muslim ever and is the best example of a moral human for all of human kind to follow for the rest of time.
