    This team doesnt haveit anymore. Things need to get shaken up or this trend will continue.. Might still make the playoffs as 7-8 seed and get bounced out the first round like how all those BSPN writers predicted.

    I hope Josh Smith is learning something tonight. The only shot worth a crap in your arsenal is around the basket. Anything similar to a jump shot is terrible.

    Of course I'm probably asking entirely too much.

    I would counter with this - I'm totally willing to forgive bad shooting nights, or some confusion on the offensive or defensive schemes, or running out of gas.

    I am unwilling to act like everything's okay when the team I root for comes out and doesn't try for 48 minutes.

    Yes it is. Look, the Rockets have had stretches of bad basketball during their history. But this is also an organization that had MVPs like Moses Malone and Dream and made Finals appearances once in a while. We're in the midst of nearly 2 decades of futility and it's not a coincidence that it's all been under the same owner.

    One other thing I didn't mention in that summary of the Rockets' playoff futility is that they've also only made the postseason 9 times in the last 17 years. Remember, this is a league where 8 out of 15 teams in each conference go to the playoffs every year. So it's not like just getting there is some sort of major accomplishment, and even then, the Rockets have been mediocre at best in that capacity.

    Maybe. I know he was reported as recruiting smith. But once smith has gotten here I don't see so called best friends acting like besties.
