if no Kawhi, why didn't they extend him. Will they match him? Obviously its looking like they can't win w/o him.
If he doesn't return 100% or near 100%, Spurs are done. We'll see how well he plays with the injured hand. Ask the Spurs. Bulls didn't extend Butler either and would be dead without him too. Since both guys probably requested max contracts, teams had little to lose by waiting a year and just matching an offer sheet or giving the max in 2015.
