Not just annoying, pretty scary too. We all know that the word fan was derived from fanatical. All you need is one psychotic fan to rush out there and try to hurt an opponent and this will not look funny anymore.

 

Lame, nothing funny about it.

They're assholes. Tens of thousands of people paid to watch a football match and these guys decide to amuse themselves by interrupting and delaying the game.

 

I've always thought that fans who do this should get the same treatment the Stros (especially Biggio and Hampton) gave the fan in Milwaukee who tackled Bill Spiers...let the players have a minute or so to just kick the living crap out of them.

 

Not only is that completely and totally annoying, it also throws the players out of rhythm. One look at how pissed all the players were should tell you how completely unfunny that is.
