With just $3.3M on the books for this season, I could definitely see the Rockets inquiring here or watching for a potential buyout.

I've always loved his skill set. He just seems a little too high maintenance, but could be worth it.

I'd take him. Not sure if we'd give him minutes he's seeking, but he can contribute.

First DWill, then Boozer, then Terry and now Kirilenko.

Oh what a time we live in

With the (non-)news about Jones, AK47 would be a great (and realistic) option to play minutes at the 4 spot. Hasn't really shot the three much the past two years, but he sure can fill up a stat sheet.

He is also not completely useless, which would be a good change of pace from our current big men rotation

Would not be opposed to it. Surely he can be productive 25-30 min a night, right? Because Dmo just isn't cutting it.

Can we turn Josey Dorsey into AK47?

Kirilenko is pretty much washed up at this stage of his career. If he can't contribute on a not so great Nets team I don't see him help us much.

He's the kind of player the Clippers, Spurs, Mavericks, the aging Olajuwon-Rockets or whichever team Lebron is on stack up on. Not us. :(

But he'd get a lot of minutes here considering we're relatively thin at the 4 spot. That should be something he'd consider.

    Exactly.

What are we looking for him to provide for this Rockets team? He does not have an about average D at this stage nor he has good and steady 3 pt shoot. So you are basically looking for an old and wash version of Papa and eventually McHale will use him to guard the 4 coming out from bench and he will got murdered.

Actually, if Morey really think this team needs immediately helps, he should just cut Garcia right away and re-sign Jeff Adrien.

But no, he won't do it, its too much pride to swallow.

I haven't really liked him since he killed Apollo Creed in Rocky 4.

If we have both Terry and AK47 on the same team here, we might as well sell our souls.
