I wouldn't mind traded coaches with New Orleans. At least we know there would be better coaching competency.
Dude, shut the hell up and use this time to draw plays. Why oh why are we cursed with this coach? I miss Adelman.
Last night did Omer look like a guy who missed you Kevin? Have two starting centers last year was an anomaly McHale. Virtually no team can sustain that depth at the 5. Get over it and get these other guys up to speed ASAP.
Is Morey married to one of McHale's daughters? He does realize we lost in the 1st round to Portland with Asik, and Asik sat out most of the season on him..
No way. Pelicans' fans cannot stand Monty. They hate him as much as people on this site hate McHale, if not more. He's not a good coach.
Stop talking and go watch videos or plays of other coaches, you worthless bottom tier joke of a coach. This guy can have 5 all stars but will still find room to complain about the roster to cover his inadequacies as a coach when he is booted out of the 2nd round.
No reason to get upset with McHale over this. He was asked "will you miss Asik on your roster?" It's professional to say that he will be missed. Also--we have no back up bigs. He also took a small shot at Asik last night when he said something along the lines of "his starting was always a bone of contention between him and the organization."
Coach up the others McHale - don't cry about spilled milk, especially when it is as limited as Omer is... DD
I know. I'm halfway being sarcastic at the intent of this thread to wallow in the loss of Omer (I know he was your boo along with 2Pat Carl). Honestly, this isn't really threadworthy. Not sure what McHale is supposed to say here... "Naw, Omer was crap. Give me Dorsey any day of the week"? From what McHale said... I get it.... still if we can be honest here McHale has been pretty spoiled so far in his time with Houston, and last year had an anomaly at the 5 spot few coaches ever get. Few inexperienced coaches get to walk into such a good situation as McHale did, and few have owners & GM's that don't automatically throw their coaches under the bus every time the seas aren't glassy. He could stand to show a little more public appreciation to the owner and front office that have supported him through this whole Journey a little more since they are pretty much responsible for giving him some sort of credibility as a coach after the Minnesota debacle. But whatever, that same owner and GM decided its better to keep the same coaching staff together, and they decided its better to move Asik for the Pelles pick in order to give themselves a shot at a better fit next to Howard & Harden. No one is really crying over spoiled milk other than Carl it seems like. But us who have been here awhile know how he is with his guys so it is what it is.
I miss the Asik we had the first year, not the "cry baby" Asik we had last year who was largely worthless.
