    Do you think they played outfield vs. infield to see who could push the envelope further? I think seeing the arms race between Bagwell/Biggio/Caminiti and Finley/Gonzo, the pitchers got jealous so management brought in Clemens and Pettitte to show the youngsters the ropes.
