This should be shocking to absolutely no one. The weak link here is Wade. He's got to be the guy who takes a huge pay cut, so the Heat can pay LeBron and Bosh max deals and still have enough to bring in some rotation guys.

With Bosh looking elsewhere, it looks alot better that we could get Lebron/Bosh/Melo

I do believe this man is the sacrificial lamb. Baa, not bah. I'll accept him here.

If I were CB4 I'd have my agent call DM the GM before Melo announces and say, 'Will you give Bosh 4/80 right now regardless of Melo?'

If (when) the answer is, 'Yes', I say OK, deal done.

    I'd absolutely take that too.

Bosh is tall & long. He can stop the Aldridges of the world that gave us all kinds of trouble last year.

+ He can shoot 3s, post up, defend pick n rolls.

Bosh is a better fit here than Melo and I think he is a LOT better than he has shown in Miami. He sacrificed stats to win, but I think he is just as talented as he was in Toronto if he needs to be.

Bosh is not a max player. But if we go into the lux to resign parsons and end up with:

    Howard
    Bosh
    Parsons
    Harden
    Beverly

    Plus our MLE?

And we retain all of our assets?

Well then that would be a hell of an outcome.

Assuming we have no control over a Love trade (it takes 2). And assuming Melo stays in NYC and Bron does his thing, with Lowry off the market, we really can't afford to pass up Bosh.

This makes absolutely no difference to the rockets if he gets 15 mill/yr or 20 mill/yr.

It is only Les Alexander's pocket book. We are going to be way in the Lux tax after we sign someone + resign Parsons for 8-10 mill/yr.

Bosh is a perfect fit for this team, worrying about the extra 5 mill shouldn't matter to the fans in this situation.

He'd fill the exact need we have here to a T.

    Pick and roll monster (check)
Good help defender and great at defending PNR (check)
    Spreads the floor (check)
    Good passer (check)

I doubt anyone will give him 20mil a season, 15mil is doable but not 20mil.

Like his style of plan and think he fits perfectly w/ a parsons/Howard front. Think he has degressef every year and wouldn't give him anything north of 14 mil

If I'm Wade I'm pretty pissed.

He's the big loser here since he opted out. If I were him and all this went down (With Bosh/Lebron going elsewhere) I'd go sign for the Spurs for cheap (although I don't know their cap situation)

I'll believe this when I see someone sign. These are all rumors, and none of the Big3 have even visited any other teams. When's the last time a major free agent signed with another team, but didn't meet with their front office? It's got to be pretty rare.

It also doesn't make sense for Wade to opt-out if Bosh and Lebron are willing to leave. Either Wade got duped or these are just rumors.

Can you imagine trading Asik/Lin/future first for Bosh AND the Pelies pick?

    I think it would be a sign and trade . . . ..
    and
    I think he maybe worth it . .. . .

but we need more Raptor Bosh
    than Miami Bosh

    Rocket River
Even Miami Bosh is pretty darn good
