    If Harrell is going to pitch well it has to be tonight. The Royals offense has been horrible.

    Let go of reality? Become an eternal optimist?

    If you're seeing something in Harrell that I'm not, then fine... its not like I'm wishing ill-will on him. I just don't think he's got the makeup to be a rotational starter in MLB, and I think he's had plenty of opportunity to turn it around.

    I mean I am an optimist... and I hope for the sake of the Astros that we can move past Harrell. His opportunity has run dry and then some.

    If were gonna play Castro at DH, which I'm not opposed to, we need to go ahead and call up Stassi. Corporan is a backup C in every respect of the word.

    A 3rd catcher is probably more valuable right now than a 7th bullpen arm.

    Agreed. These are the sort of decisions where Luhnow is still largely unproven (the shuffling in/out of actual MLB players based on performance/track record/team needs). We know he's a guru at building up the minor league system via the draft (which was his primary responsibility with the Cardinals), but he will have to prove that he can successfully manage a MLB roster on a successful team.
