I think it's time to sign Troy Daniels. The rockets need a shooter and we could have him for cheap. He's already broken the D-League record for 3s midway through the season. And is shooting 40%. It'll look bad when another team picks him up right under our nose and he contributes immediately just like what happened with James Johnson.

 

Daniels said he has been in contact with “10-15” NBA teams this season, and that it seems a call-up “is just a matter of time.”

Convington put on a show today. He'll win the MVP today.

Time to get the Covington thread started in garm, he's 6'9 solid shooter, was working out with Howard last night, think he starts getting mins after break ?

 

Rockets organization did a good job of bringing T-Jones along, so I'll trust them to bring up Covington at the right time.

 

True and his contract is perfect if he's able to be a backup for parsons, he leaves us with room to flexible in the future.

Actually, he's 6' 6.25" without shoes, but his standing reach is only one inch less than TJones at 8' 10".

I could see Covington at some point getting some minutes at backup power forward when the opposing team has a small lineup. Maybe taking minutes from Casspi.

I need to watch some of his D-League games to see what he can do on defense.

 

We need to lock this guy up! Who gets cut?

 

Daniels cannot pass from one hand to the other ... i am not sold.It's not time to pick up a d-leaguer, we have cannaan and Cov.

 

His only job right away will be to be better than Garcia, not a hard thing to accomplish this season.
