    What I don't get is how Alabama is one of the "biggest" and Mississippi is one of the "smallest".

    They are right next to each other and have a similar population of people.

    I think the statistics are skewed by certain states that cannot afford condoms (the sample size is too small ;)).

    Inevitably people in the redneck states are going to purchase less condoms than those in the northeast.
