The problem is that the Rockets have put together a legitimate contender and will have comparatively dismal ratings because of this CSN debacle.

Sadly man..... nope it won't work. There is a security token attached to each link, which is unique to your computer.

 

I was just checking to see if there was any positive news on the CSN/satellite front since I decided a while back it may be another season before anything gets done. I remembered that someone in the past, maybe season before last, or maybe last, was uploading links here on CF to .mp4 videos of games a day or two after each game. Anybody know if there is any chance that might happen again?

Comcast isn't available where I am...but if Time Warner gets a deal done (or any other company that's available to me), I'm dropping DirecTv. I can't take it anymore

 

Do you have to use a service to mask your IP to use ballstreams and be able to see the rockets games?

 

Nevermind, just did some reading on the ballstreams site. Sounds interesting if the quality is decent.

You need to fill out their survey. Thats how they measure how many subscribers want a channel (this is based on the info they gave me)

I switched to Comcast. On the X-1 system the surround sound is iffy and you have to select your "favorites" on the guide a lot but other than those bugs I actually like the interface much better. (they did an upgrade to the guide last night but I haven't looked at it yet)
The only channel I lost was The Longhorn Network and of course I gained CSN.

It's just one soulless giant corporation or the other, so I chose The Rockets.
