    also, I was in awe that they get more than 20 seconds for a sport segment!

    here it's 10 minutes for weather, 19:40 for shootings and 20 seconds for texans, rockets, and astros.

    I swear when I was growing up it seemed like there was quite a bit more time devoted to sports.

    Now it's nothing more than a 40-second spot right before the anchors say goodnight and start shuffling their papers.
