Manziel is pretty lucky. He still tends to run around the backfield like a chicken with his head cutoff, but his receivers find ways to get open and he's able to make plays.

That deep ball should've been intercepted or batted down.

Giving up that many rushing yards to BYU is far more embarrassing than this.

 

I'm no fan of A&M but this is the number 1 team Alabama we're taking about, back to back champions. Texas on the other hand got embarrassed by BYU.

Eh, Texas kinda did get shown up on NT, the game was on ESPN2. And by a team like BYU nonetheless. You can't compare a historically bad defense like Texas' to A&M's which isn't close to being half as bad -- and I'm saying this as a Texas fan.

 

A&M's "character" will be tested in the 2nd half. Will they raise their game to another level or fall apart. Even if they play better, Alabama is such a good front-running team it probably won't matter.

 

Yeah cause that stopped Aggie from talking smack about the Horns during the last decade, when they were mediocre at best.

Really disappointed in the Aggie defense. When Rice was putting up big yards people were saying it was because the Aggies were missing a bunch of starters. But I just don't think the defense is very good. Really hope the defense shows up in the second half.
