Exactly.

I can't imagine some nazi skinhead consciously throwing a banana at a black player......then voluntarily coming forward the very next day to apologize profusely and repeatedly insist that it wasn't meant to be racist.

That's usually not how your typical racist operates.

EDIT: So, in sum, yes the ballpark provides ammunition for racist fruit throwing. But no potatoes for Irish players, which tells you a lot about the history of the city. There is pizza for Italian players though.
