It actually depends on the beer. Some beers taste completely different on tap or even when poured from a bottle into a glass (it opens up). That Samuel Adams summer beer for example, tastes okay out of the bottle, tastes much better when you pour it in a glass. Some beers, like Live Oak only come in keg form.

And ****ty beers like Natural Light taste best out of a can to me.

I went on a few brewery tours this year and they all said to buy their stuff in a can rather than a bottle because it keeps better in a can. And either way, you should always pour it into a glass, it always tastes better

I can only drink sour ales from tap, the bottles never taste as good. But when it comes to cream ales I find them better from a bottle, then poured into a glass.

So I sees what you're saying.

Voted bottle. Mainly because I visited the Jester King brewery this weekend, and they sold me on their process of bottle conditioning the beer after the initial fermentation.

both. btw: cans are better for the environment. just need to say that now, in case this thread gets moved to DD.

btw btw: when is the last time you bought a beer from a bottle at a bar, instead of tap?

I would say draft in most cases, especially craft brews.

For whatever reason though I think shiner is horrible on draft 90% of the time.

Someday when I'm more successful I'm going to have to buy you a beer at a rockets game, or at moon tower in after.

Anyways most of the bars I go to I will choose draught if they have the correct micro brew, but in clear lake most of the time the craft brews are only in bottles :(.
