    I like having multiple stars with contracts that are staggered.

    This way, assuming Harden and Howard gel, they will always be re-upping to play with the other.

    It could be both, I believe. Pretty sure LeBron has both a ETO and a player option

    Dwight could have signed a 4 year deal with ETO after year two and a player option after year 3, right?

    The team as reported, doesn't want to trade Asik, especially with Dwights previous injury issues...

    Going to try to limit him to the low 30's a game is what I was told.

    Wait, since when can a contract have an ETO after three years? I thought it had to be at least four.

    Unless the 4th year is actually a player option.

    Lin was shopped, but not many teams really like the contract...

    I think they want to see if Lin can really thrive in the pick and roll and if he can get going with a full HEALTHY season.

    It will be a 4 year deal so the 4th year would be the player option...so a three year deal and then he gets a extension we would all hope.
