Daryl Morey not allowed to attend Video Game Championships because Dwight Howard was there

Well he was just saying that he is willing to sacrifice his love for video games to get Howard (my understanding)

 

Any one else find it weird Dwight Howard is on the RED team! OMG!!! REDNATION!!!

 

You definitely haven't been a MLG event before. Things have changed, there's a significant amount of hot girls going to these events. The majority of which aren't being paid to be there.

 

I play Smash Bros Melee. The other fighting games are entertaining to watch, but I dont play them ,only really liked Melee. Glad we are back at Evo.

 

I went to the one in Dallas last year. I would say it has increased a bit, but I wouldn't say significantly (or hot, haha). I'm also comparing this to CPL events I went to in the early 00's.

I just got into the fighting game scene a few years ago (when Mortal Kombat came out). Currently playing Injustice; it's alright. I ended up making a Rockets themed arcade stick, too.

I haven't been to a MLG event in Dallas (been to several CPLs), but the one I did go to -- it was night and day (it was in D.C.). I'm sure in L.A. it's a lot different, they've continually had major gaming events for some time and their communities are generally a lot closer. There were cute girls at CGS there around 05-07.
