[NEWS] Explosions near Boston Marathon Finish Line (UPDATE: MIT/Watertown shootout w/ suspects)

So the bomb was inside a pressure cooker? Why a pressure cooker? Does this lead to a middle eastern bomber than?

 

Like I said in my first post, if I were a Muslim with any knowledge of the situation I would not say anything. Truth is that person would become suspect number one, or an accomplice.

Bombs + public explosion triggers terrorist attack and Muslims in the minds of many.

 

Because it is shaped like a stubby cannon, which turns it into a directional bomb like a claymore -- which I suppose is ideal for maximizing the explosive force in one direction to maximize velocity of ball bearings versus a pipe that disperses in all directions.

If you drop a backpack in the middle of a sidewalk, it might be noticed. If you put it at the edge of the sidewalk and aim the pressure cooker opening towards the crowd ...

That's ****ing disgusting. There are a lot of children there too. But thank goodness it didn't went off during that high peak.

 

I doubt that's it, there's not even a dent in the mailbox, and the guardrail is bent the opposite way (wrapping forward around the mailbox). At the base of the tree, maybe?

the bomb was not in that bag.

 

This bomb probably failed compare it to the one behind it.

 

I quit being an EMT because of constantly having to witness those types of trauma. The images and sounds of the people stick in your head.

looks like it could be someone grabbing whatever it was from the other side of the temporary railing thing thats set up.

 

CNN reporting the 3rd person killed was a Chinese National... I believe this was also a BU grad student, as previously reported...

 

I think it was a bloody flag that was clung to a metal object. You can tell right before the person walks by it, it's blown a little by the wind. That is my guess.
