    I understand the idea about increasing cache.. but what about on Mac? I believe the software is a bit different.

    Just saw these instructions on reddit.

    High Quality HD Stream using VLC player: (VLC for Windows: Open -> Network Tab -> Paste URL | VLC for Mac: File -> Open Network -> Paste URL. Works best if launched from command line! See reply below! You can increase/decrease the quality by changing "3000" in the URL to either 400, 800, 1600, 3000, or 4500. Also works flawlessly for iPhone/iPad, just click the link.)

    go to Open Network Stream. Paste Link. On the bottom check "show more options". Put cache amount to 1000

    After you select media -> open network stream -> (fill the url space with the link) -> (on the botom of the window, there is I suppose advanced - don't know for sure, i use VLC in a different language) check that box -> the hit "play"

    Hope this clears it up!

    Could "cache" be called something else?? Don't see that option on my comp, which is a Mac.
