For a more fair price comparison they probably shoulda used a Z06, but even then the Porsche is probably still more expensive and the Vette would destroy it. ZR1 would likely be overkill.

 

Was this a spinoff of 5th gear? I really enjoyed their car shootouts.

If I'm going to buy a 130k sports car, I would not pick yellow as the color. And comparing a 991 Porsche to a Vette is like comparing Kate Beckinsale to Kate Upton. And this isn't even against the upcoming 991 Turbo.

That's exactly why you buy yellow. You can't get away with that color on an everage vehicle. There isn't a thing wrong about a yello Murci.

 

I don't care about cars, but why care about speed? You think girls are gonna be like ohhh that vette can smoke that Porsche! I'd choose the Porsche because it's a Porsche. Bangin a different boi every day.

 

And orange and lime green. Only the super sports euro cars can pull those colors. Domestic and import looks tacky

Enthusiasts don't get sports cars for girls. Performance vehicles are none of their business as far as an enthusiast is concerned. There's nothing wrong with getting a Porsche because it's a Porsche, I wouldn't base a purchasing decision on pure performance, I don't think many people do.

Sure it is, it's yellow. You already have a super expensive car that few can afford, why do you need a loud obnoxious color to make it even more obvious? To each their own, but I like classic subdued colors like shades of black, gunmetal or metallic grey, shades of white, or silver.

Not a big fan of orange on the elite sports cars either, but at least it doesn't hurt the eyes like yellow does.
