The word that made it pop up was 'winner'.

I just tried both styles and I'm not seeing that. You're saying that certain words are hyperlinked and when you scroll over them, a pop-up comes up?

That sounds like a keyword ad script, but we don't use anything like that. Can you confirm it's not adware or something on your computer (meaning, confirm that it's not happening with other sites) and does it happen on every page load for you here?

    Thanks...

No problem... hope some anti-adware software gets that resolved for you.

Hmmm, got myself into something here Malware bytes got 4 trojan files, windows defender 0, and CCleaner cleared out the registry stuff that Malware bytes picked up, but whatever I picked up is still highlighting various words and creating pop ups.

This is happening on all the sites I go to now -- weird.

I started getting those in the last few days myself. Just ran Spybot, CC Cleaner and Malwarebytes ... the last one after googling 'rollover ads' and it was recommended. The malware bytes found 51 issues after running the other two, (really just 51 repeats of two)

I think it was the adware issues and the malewarebytes seems to have fixed it.

I assume it comes with all the pop-up and unders from running First Row to stream the Rockets games.
That's about the only hinky place I've been lately.

Yup. this is how I got infected. I was fooled by one of the "close" options on the video screen, one is legit the other is a gate to adsgalore. It didn't matter if I had adblock on chrome.

Are you on Firefox? I had those start popping up on me yesterday, it turned out I had somehow added a "coupon" add-on. Once I disabled it and restarted Firefox I was fine...

what browser are you using? Check your add-ons and disable everything then run Malwarebytes.
