    UT and TCU are playing their respective bowl games tonight and try to make it 6-0 for the original Southwest Conference (SWC). All the SWC teams except the UH Coogs are in a bowl game.

    back from the Armed Services bowl game in Fort Worth

    Owls looked strong. We could have had a 10-3 season if we didn't lose our QB earlier in the year.

    A nice 5 game winning streak to close the year for Rice

    Once again Mike Riley shows he's a complete idiot when it comes to managing timeouts. There was NO reason to not call a timeout before the clock expired at the half. This kind of mismanagement cost them the game against Washington earlier in the year.

    I don't buy it. The way Oregon State's offense hurried up to the line to try and spike the ball proved they suspected it wasn't a first down.

    Long story short: Oregon State should have finished the year 11-1. They had no chance against Oregon but should have beaten UW and Stanford.

    I fell asleep just after halftime of the TCU/Michigan State game last night. Between it being a late game and the fact that those teams were setting offensive football back 30 years, I just couldn't hang.

    I just saw the highlights. Les Miles is an idiot. His dumb play-calling cost LSU 2 games: Tonight and against Alabama.

    At some point, top recruits should figure out he's not a bright bulb.

    Good one so far between Nebraska and Georgia. I'm a Huskers fan but really expected Georgia to destroy them.

    I watched about 5 seconds of it. Call me old school, but a 6-6 team in a bowl game doesn't deserve much sympathy.

    Fortunately, the other two on right now are good.
