    And please, no one wants Lin to fail, the animosity is towards LOFs, not Lin himself.

    Can't tell who is who here.:p But I really appreciate those vets who's skeptical, ignore LOFs and making valuable assessment on Lin.

    Just early on, so many people saying Lin is a joke, a scrub, so many bad things spoke towards a young lad with an positive attitude. I understand it's hard to accept a rookie than 2 fringe all-star PGs. But it's not the reason to be that harsh about him cause he's not the reason the two elite were gone.:)

    You nailed it. I came over because of Lin as well. I realize that I am now a true Rockets fan when Rockets beat my Lakers and I was jumping up and down, even though Lin didn't have a good game in that game. :eek:cool::cool::cool:

    Exactly. It's tiring how some people insist on attributing his popularity merely to his race.

    Of course it's a factor, but it's not the main one. To me, it's also the underdog story that really drew me in.
