    What would your reaction be if Morey offered a max to Smith to steal him away from Atlanta?

    I don't think we will try to steal him with a money offer. I predict Rockets are working a trade for Josh Smith right now with all of our four prospects.

    I feel like Jones can develop into being as good, Smith isn't in the same talent stratosphere as Harden and I already feel Harden is slightly iffy for max.

    So no I don't really want him for max.

    I think you underrate Smith's defense. He is one of the FEW PF's that can affect a game offensively and defensively.

    Imagine playing pick and roll offense against Asik, Smith, Parsons (yes, I am considering Lin, but usually it's the bigs that gets exposed on a PNR)

    Giving Josh Smith a 4 year contract from age 27-30 would be a serious opportunity.

    preseason didn't do him any good playing with the 2nd unit. they didn't look for him as much as i wanted them to

    feed donut the ball!!

    He would be a massive upgrade for us at the PF position. J-Smoove is one of the better defenders in the league. He could compliment Asik like a sock and a shoe. Our frount court defense will probably be on par with OKC in Perkins and Ibaka. Paint proctiion would be A+++.

    He can put up points as well. Would be a good option next to Lin and Harden with the pick n roll. Plus he can run up and down the court too which is what we are looking to do.
