    I'm glad you made the point that it's not just one side.

    The lone public Obama supporter in my parents east texas town has been threatened repeatedly and called a "n***** lover" by brave souls from the windows of their large trucks.

    Stealing signs happens. A friend of mine who lives in a suburb of Minneapolis had his sign opposing the MN marriage amendment, it would restrict marriage to only heterosexuals, stolen.

    So, I'm willing to bet that the state legislator's son got into some drunk fratboy fight, and his dad immediately thought "okay ... how can I make this look good?"

    No, the whole idea behind it was that Americans are more hateful towards each other these days. Pubs and Dems yelling at each other, races hating each other, occupy wall street.

    Things are getting out of hand.

    It is not true, another example of fear mongering by the extreme right. On another note, 4 years ago I had 3-4 Obama signs stolen.
