Patriots vs. Jets - was the clock stopped too early here?

    Very convenient timing for the operator to stop the clock. The game was tied and the Patriots fumble the ball here ... he stops it at 2:01, even though it doesn't look like the play has been whistled dead yet. That forces the Jets to run another play before the 2-minute warning stops the clock (essentially saving the Patriots a timeout that they needed to force OT and ultimately win).

    What do you think -- little home cooking or is this normal?

    And the Jets played right into by running the ball at 2:01. If the clock is gonna stop in 1 second, and Shonn Greene's out, you probably should have attempted a pass.

    The goal line quick slant was probably not a great idea either.

    That's was a ridiculously stupid call when you have both Greene and Tebow... and when your QB is Sanchez.
