Thomas is an immense talent (albeit I'm a biased Tech fan) and Peyton is still Peyton. I'm waiting more to see how they run the offense and how Peyton spreads the ball around. Thomas does have the best potential at being a solid scorer every week, while Washington/DJax are guaranteed to throw out a couple of stinkers.
Few questions: Who should I flex: Miles Austin or Justin Blackmon? Blackmon is definitely WR1 on the jags and will be targeted a ton.
Week 1 League: PPR + 20 yds rushing/receiving per pt + rest standard Flex - Reggie Bush or Shonn Greene? Bush Yahoo projected points: 8.2 Pros: dump off catches from Tannihill for easy points Cons: Texans defense should demolish them Greene Yahoo projected points: 8.04 Pros: Jets QBs have looked like poo so far = lots of runs vs Bills Cons: Jets whole offense has looked like poo so far = little success Other Alternatives Pierre Thomas (proj 7.38 vs Was), Alfred Morris (proj 2.18 @ NO), Crabtree (proj 6.98 @ GB), Collie (proj. 6.28 @ Chi) I could go with Pierre Thomas since I already have Sproles and just hedge my bet if one goes big in place of the other. It's very possible both can have big days for how our league is scored. Alfred Morris is too big of an unnecessary risk for now, even tough I'd bet that he will get the most carries. I'm taking a wait and see approach for Crabtree and Collie.
Do you think Felix Jones has any trade value right before the season? Do you think it will go up or down as the season progresses.
right now, Felix doesnt have a value, (he got undrafted in a lot of 10-12 team leagues) if Murray gets hurt, then his value could go up.
Reggie Bush. Easy choice in a PPR league. Greene should be emergency only. Let Crabtree prove he can be something before considering him, and we need to see how Collie/Luck combo goes.
Not sure if I should start Lynch. I have J. Stewart and Deangelo Williams on my bench and Gerhart starting. Who should I replace Lynch with?
depends if you have any cowboy homers in your league as well. exploitation should is encourage in fantasy sports... I would sell high if Murray gets nicked. Jones has already proven he has a marginal RB2 ceiling as a starter.
I agree! I have a lot of Cowboy fans in our 20 team league. The fact we have 20 teams should raise his value because RB depth is so bad. I already have McFadden/Lynch/Tate
All backup RBs, especially ones behind guys that have health concerns are definitely valuable in a 20 team league.
I took a flier on Felix Jones late in one of my leagues. I've seen a couple experts say he's going to be more involved than people think. Murray had trouble staying healthy in College, so who knows how he will hold up over the course of the season.
I got counter offered, this guy wants Rodgers bad - what say all? Aaron Rodgers Dwayne Bowe Michael Turner Doug Baldwin for Cam Newton Jordy Nelson Brandon Lloyd Chris Johnson
