    I'm looking to have a few drinks with the gf tonight. its one of this chill, sit down and talk nights, with maybe a live band. I usually go to sherlocks, bakers street and sometimes fox and hound but i need some new suggestions. Where do you guys go? We're mid 20's and prefer a mix crowd but not to " up scale"

    Though I haven't been there in a couple of years, I suspect Rudyard's is still the best bar in Houston, by a mammoth margin.

    "West Houston" encapsulates a lot. The Galleria is the boonies to me, so you've got to give cross streets.

    Lol well location is no issue to me... just looking for a new spot but I'm on briar forest and eldridge area. BTW she changed her mind and wants to stay in, go figure... but i still would like suggestions
