Its funny but Oden is the only one who got a second glimpse from me too. He could be worth it if he can stay healthy. That might be possible as a backup.

A lesser Arenas (from the one in his prime)
    A lesser Westbrook
    A lesser Lebron
    A lesser KG
    A lesser Shaq

    Championship right there!

Seems like Oden got drafted so long ago, and is only 1 year older then Lin. Weird.

I would give Oden a try out; why not, what's to lose?

there are some good players out there, but i think most of them wouldn't take a lowball offer from morey. i don't think he's going to pay much for FA's like he did with asik and lin, unless he really is going all-in with his scouting reports and predictions for unproven talent. if so, this should be a pretty interesting season.

i do like the idea of mike bibby or ish smith backing up lin though, and i think they could be had with a pretty cap friendly contract. also, i think kenyon martin or chris andersen are worth a look to see if they can backup asik

How about the return of Jermaine Taylor? I remember when he started a game of two in the 2009-2010 season, I liked him. Also Michael Redd is intriguing. He is actually currently working out at my school gym every morning with some other NBA players including Chuck Hayes .

    I like
    PG: Ish Smith
    SG: Sam Young
    SF: Alonzo Gee
PF: No one really since we already have a billion of them
    C: Oden

Oden is particularly interesting for a rebuilding team like the Rox.

I agree if the price is right give him a shot.
He is the only person on that list that I would even want to come here, let the rookies get minutes and grow.

I believe getting a veteran "glue" guy would be good. Someone to rein in rookies when necessary and who they can look up to. But of the FAs on the board... D-Fish is the only one that comes to mind. BUT I HATE D-FISH... so I'm conflicted. Someone like KG 2 years from now would be perfect... but he's going to retire a Celtic. Duncan also comes to mind but he's going to retire a Spur.

I think we should go for Jonny Flynn, Ish Smith, Jermaine Taylor, Terrence Williams, Donte Green and Yi Jianlian. I hear they'll all be All Stars if given the chance...
