    I think my rep is worth 5 points but I'm not quite sure. I do know that the few times I have posted in the GARM, I seem to get rep. Unfortunately, I do much of my posting in the Hangout. :(

    Lol wow. I guess its completely based on how many rep points that I have already.
    Someone here told me it was a complicated algorithm based on join date, post count, and rep count to reward efficient users.

    Maybe a dumb question but I've been recently posting alot and I'm trying to build my rep as well as rep others, but I'm wondering at what point can I give out rep to others? I find lots of good posts that I think deserve something.....

    Happened to me today. I think if you have given out 20 reps in one day, it freezes you from doing any more rep for a period of 24 hours.
