    Asik is a far better rebounder and defender. His offensive contribution will be what he makes it to be (ie, putbacks and assisted layups/dunks). But defensively, Asik is supreme!

    The Knicks are screwed. Amare is an injury waiting to happen, Melo is a chucker, and the Knicks are probably the oldest team in the league. If they make the playoffs I'm guessing they're out in the first round.

    I really don't want to see Douglas starting the season with us. I'd like to have a good shooting & defending PG to bring in when Royce White is running the show. A guy like Gibson (Cavs ) would be great. Is he still good?

    Gortat averaged 10 rebounds a game last season in 32 minutes per game. If Asik is a far better rebounder, can we expect to see 12 rebounds given starters minutes? 14? :rolleyes:

    Gortat is a very solid 2 way player. While Asik is known for his defense only. Thus one-dimensional.
