  2. Center and SG :: Shaq-Kobe

    Out of sheer curiousity I'd love to see how Dwight and Durant would mesh. Now that would be a C-SF pair to see. Definitely not saying this is a possibility, just curious how that would work

    Center and Point Guard, but you used an awful example in the poll question. Having a dominant rebounder/rim protector and low possession/high percentage scorer, combined with a pass-first PG who can create dribble penetration and set up his teammates or get to the rim (as well as run the fast break initiated by the C's shot-blocking and outlet passing) is the ideal combination if both players are truly what you would consider superstars.

    Chris Paul and Dwight Howard would be like Magic and Kareem!

    That's how the Rockets won their first championship.

    BTW, every combination mentioned, the Center has been a dominant offensive force.

    Saw Hakeem in the poll, immediately voted for that option. Didn't even read the rest.

    What do I win?

    PG and SG's wife. That would be Tony Parker and you-know-who.

    Tracy McGrady was a shooting guard.
    I almost put Yao-Artest, but lol you'd have been be drunk to consider Ron a superstar or star of any caliber.

    center/sg. i think because hte SG can run a pick/roll better than a PG. the PG can pass it sure, but you want someone who can do their own thing. if the SG can pass, definitely C/SG.

    PG and C are the two most important positions on the court.

    I think basketball theory wise PG and C can affect the game like no one else... Chris paul Dwight Howard.. would be :eek:! Of course its not lebron and dwight but you'd play a much more fundamentally sound game.. then we sign ray allen, pippen and thorpe!
