Its just not as easy trapping in daily production of 100s of MILLIONS of scrotal swimmers, than it is to keep one monthly female egg subdued.

The key figure is the stated 100% effectiveness . Thats quite a claim. It does bring some suspicision why there's not much research outside of India. Maybe it is "Big Pharma" turning a blind eye. (Though what kinda of money are clinics currently getting out of just vasectomies? There can be 15 Vasalgel guys to each vasectomy. )

I'm also not as confident it'll bring the 2nd sexual revolution as INTENDED. But men need the option to take control of their sexual destiny the same as women.

In all seriousness, this needs to be exported en masse to 3rd world countries. Could solve the population crisis.

Interesting more detailed article from last year that I think revved up the attention.
-About the Indian doctor how he created RISUG/Vasalgel;
-how despite now WORLDWIDE KNOWLEDGE of it (men WANT to fly in to India to get it done), that its politics and business practices being obstacles in getting it approved;
-and there are organizations looking to get 'er done in North America

That does get light mention

About half of all pregnancies in the US are unplanned. Come up with a better contraceptive and the likely results are all good: fewer unwanted kids, fewer single parents, and fewer abortions.
