What's next, the moon? (that's no moon)

While it's interesting on certain levels, I personally feel that this kind of silliness is a big part of what makes people actually consider giving The Money tools to legislate and jack with our access to teh interwebs.

I don't use TPB much, unless I have absolutely no access to it where I'm at. I'm not justifying my actions or anything, but the adblock is a godsend. If you want to see ads, that's up to you. I prefer not to if the option is there.

If TPB shuts down, I would be sad, but not the end of the world.

Now that's out of the way, for those who know, how do these sites make money? I doubt ads alone would cut it, much less pay for drones.

Seriously, this is a publicity stunt, and probably way for them to deflect some heat off their land-based servers from the Feds. While it's a laudable effort, I can't help but think this isn't going to last very long. Besides, even those drones need fuel, right? What's stopping the Feds from just staking a plane long enough to where it needs to land for fuel, and confiscating it then??

TPB is awesome, but there are currently sooooo many downloading options out there right now, I'm not terrified of losing them or anything.

    Still, pretty cool sh-t.

Someone should tell these guys that you don't need physical access to web servers in order to block access to a site.

Pirate Bay doesn't even host Torrents any more right? Just "magnets"
