NFLN: Best team in the AFC?

we will go as far as we go. there is no pressure on us. nobody expects much and we've had the best season in our history. let'm hate, i for one, am enjoying the ride.

 

That's my point. Mark Sanchez is not at all elite - had QB ratings of 63.0 and 75.3 his first two years - yet won four combined playoff games in those years and went to two AFC title games. He elevated his play a little, sure, but he mostly won those games because of the team around him.

The old-school narrative that you have to have a proven, elite quarterback to have any chance in the playoffs (see Deion's commentary) is simply wrong.

Texans are better than Ravens

 

I'm as big of a homer as anyone but I'm not ready to make that claim.

 

I actually agree. I think we can beat them the next time around. As far as being the best team in the AFC, there is a good argument there.

 

love the texans but that's a reach. the ravens have proven to be great and the texans have a ways to go to reach that level of consistency.

 

We've lost to the Ravens two times in a row dating back to last season. I don't think they beat us a third time. I think Kubiak will go all out in preparation to beat Baltimore the third time around.
