    I met Ish Smith's cousin today. I told him how sorry you guys were that the Rockets had to package Ish in the trade with Memphis. That is all. No photo. Cousin was a dude named Chad; he played some ball at NC State.

    I met Tierre Brown's great uncle today. I told him how sorry you guys were that the Rockets had to send Tierre ice-fishing in Greenland to meet the demands of Ryan Bowen's unending desire for fish sticks. That is all. No photo. No scrubs. Great Uncle was a dude named Chad; he played some pinochle against J. Edgar Hoover.

    Man, I liked watching Ish the Dish. He put a little spice in an otherwise bland soup. Yeah, I'd like to see Ish back on the roster.

    That was the point of posting. I told the young man I was from Houston and his face lit up. He started to say "That's where Ish was...."

    And I interrupted him.... "I know; the fans that I know loved Ish and really hated to see him shipped to Memphis."

    His face lit up again... then we got interrupted and could never finish the conversation.

    Im sure the cousin does not give a FKKK! His cousin is in the NBA makin mad money!!!! Thats THE ONLY thing on his mind!!!

    He was a tall rangy kid and he had on some kind of jacket with an NBA logo on it-- like a player's association jacket-- not something you'd see in a store.

    I asked him the story on it and he told me that his cousin had given it to him.

    "Who's your cousin?"

    And off we go.
