    why not just have 2 leader boards, most rep and most posts?

    Post count used to be the benchmark. Back in the day Clutch used to post lists like these with the posters with the highest post count, etc. Unfortunately, that led to a very unhealthy spat of "free post!" comments and stuff.

    The rep system was somewhat of an attempt to weed out the garbage from the helpful.

    Not sure it's really done that, but it's what we have.

    Do it again with true rep and the amount of posts since rep was introduced. I've only posted 998 times since Clutch started the rep system and I have 4300 rep points.

    The rep system rewards those who post one-liner jokes and stupid pictures. I hate it and would love to see it removed.
