    At 22 you're being really mature about it. As Barney Stinson would say Hi Five! At least you ninja upped and told her how you felt. Not a lot of guys have the balls to. Most guys are wusses these days or are too immature to handle the outcome. Good or bad you got it off your chest and won't have to regret it or let it stew. Good things will come to you my man.

    Anyways you asked her just like i did , it is hard to stay "just friends" with someone who you have feelings . In my case it is even tougher , cuz i feel like she is the "perfect" girl for me.

    Good luck in the future , maybe you could hold out and hope the girl comes back for you. Or just move on like you have already.

    Yup. Especially if she's going out with some guy and tell you allllll about it. 99% of it is boring and insignificant, but you have to deal with listening to her brag about another guy. Best bail as soon as asap.
