    Manning's deal is front loaded. He will get $23 million per season for the first 3 years then $20 million over the last 2.

    $40 million guaranteed isn't that much considering things though.

    i don't know, now that plaxico burress is playing, its just athletics. once you're proven, if you have anything left after going through an ordeal, you will get to play.

    Aren't those pre-return numbers because a large chunk of the $8 million he earned went to pay some of that debt off too.

    The "100" in the $100 mil deal is SYMBOLIC and strictly for appearances. (He'll never get that full money cuz of special clauses). Still a nice story that he's able to earn back what he has.
