    Nothing surprising. Seems like this offer was there from the start and the Astros couldn't pry away anyone significant other than Singleton/Cosart. Was the hangup the past few days just over the last 2 TBNL's? Still a good haul to get 2 top prospects for a good but unspectacular player.

    I would've liked to get Brown as well, but I can't blame the Astros for trying to get more pitching out of the deal. At least that's what I assume they were trying to accomplish.

    Honestly, I think they wanted the Braves to get involved but I guess they didn't budge on their big 4.

    So....where do Cosart and Singleton start out? Do they add to the talent stockpile in Corpus or do they start at high-A where they are now?

    Maybe we can pry away one or two of the Braves top pitching prospects for Bourn... i think he would be a better fit than pence and you could make the arguement that he is the better player. Any chance of that happening ? .. if so thats a major haul for pence and bourn.
