I'm not sure if I can say that i'm a coffee addict but I'm sure somebody else here consume more coffee than I do everyday. I drink 3-5 cups a day, dark but not espresso, no creamer.

I recently tried Jamaican Blue Mountain. IT's good but expensive. A cup of this coffee cost me 5 dollars in a restaurant.

STarbucks to me is overrated except for teh frapuccinos. It tastes like a ground charcoal.

You can never go wrong with Dunkin Donuts coffee, it's good for breakfast.

Some brands that I tried recently and I like.

    Kenya
    La Madaleine

    So what's your fave?

I'm partial to the Cafe du Monde chicory coffee. Love it black.

While I dislike Starbucks coffee in general, their instant coffee single packs are pretty good.

Really? I like any type of coffee that's guaranteed to be strong. With Starbucks you get that. Much, MUCH better than McDonald's and their superheated hot water (but hey, it's only $1 for any size!).

I too like Seattle's Best, especially Breakfast Blend. But isn't SB a part of Starbux anyway? Usually can get it for $5.99 at Krogers.

I really like Peet's, but it gets expensive.

We switched over to a Keurig machine. Gets expensive but so much simpler/easier/faster. I like the Tullys Kona and the Newman's Own Organic. I also like the Emil Lagasse coffee. Some of their stronger brands are really strong.

I finally switched to a local roaster here in Seattle. Herkimer coffee FTW!

But while I was in Houston, I loved House of Coffee Beans. For over six years, we had their Premier Indian Espresso beans shipped to us in Seattle. I live up the street from a coffee roaster and wake up to the smell of that every morning, but it took a long time to find a roaster up here that I liked as much as House of Coffee Beans. For those of you in Houston, you should check them out.

I love it too, taste good but it doubles up my heartbeat and it won't keep me awake.

The worst coffee I tried - FLAVIA.

Basso, you may have some very out there views on the political side of the spectrum. However, I can't disagree with you on your taste in coffee. My man

Just got back from visiting my relatives in Seattle (well, Marysville, to be more to the point). While I was there, I tried Camano Island Coffee Roasters coffee. It's the shizzit! In a good way.

Here in CA, there's Los Gatos, who roasts a mighty fine bean.

Check this coffee out for a different twist (like a bean colonic) >> http://www.physorg.com/news/2011-03-civet-cat-dung-secret-indonesia.html

    That **** goes for $400 a lb :eek::eek::eek:

Is there a Tim Hortons in Houston?

I'm from Toronto, and last time I was in Houston my cousins asked me to bring back a bunch of Tim's cans lol.
