    If Les is too cheap to pay Adelman, then he sure as hell not going to write a big enough check to bring Van Gundy back.

    That's not even taking into account of how JVG's previous tenure ended here, how HE doesn't play young players, how his ugly-ball style, etc etc

    someone please tell me what people see in Mario Elie's coaching resume that makes them think he'd be a good coach in the NBA???? i love him as much as the next guy but not sure what he's shown as a coach.

    i haven't heard anything so far about his coaching potential.

    i'm assuming people aren't living in 1994-95.

    He has played and coached under some good to great coaches and understands today's players. Being a former Rocket certainly plays a part of the equation as well.
