    This has always been one of the most ignored requests on this site. But I understand your desire to minimize distraction by covering too many topics in one thread.

    Now to the series at hand. I hope we find a way to dominate those series we should dominate. It's always been one of the Astros flaws in beating good teams and failing to beat the bad ones.

    Could really go for a strong start from Javier.

    The lack of K's in his first start was really alarming.

    His velocity was there. I think he will be fine but I doubt he goes more than 5 innings.

    Tough ballpark for a fly ball pitcher. Hoping for the best but I’m expecting us to have to outscore them to win tonight.

    we "should dominate" the A`s, I am hoping we don't have a Jekyll and Hyde scenario where we play well at home and suck on the road

    Javier needs a bounce back; he is the only SP I have concerns about at this point

    Springs is a pretty extreme FB pitcher (fewer GB+K than FB last year).

    Now watch it be a 2-1 game.

    Yeah and his home ERA was nearly 5 last season.

    Baseball is crazy so that could definitely happen though

    First road games for the offense. We conquered the "terrible" batter's eye, now it's easy mode.

    Everyone one of our starters has something to prove, but it's easy being optimistic.

    I am hopeful but not confident in this series.

    I am not confident in Javier in this park, or 2026 Lance vs A's lineup.

    I need Imai to acclimate to MLB as well.

    I think all 3 are winnable or losable.

    My prediction:

    W 7-4
    W 7-5
