Oh my god I literally just posted this earlier in the game thread.

The Rockets are a laughing stock online.

 

Biggest takeaway from this game for me is confirmation that we cannot competently get by without at least two real full spectrum offensive creators.

Sengun has been off, but he does carry a heavy creation burden for us. Amen, Reed, Jabari are not that at this moment.

So yeah, we’ll probably trade Sengun or Durant or both this summer.

But to look even minimally competent next year we’d need to bring back real offensive creators to replace the ones we lose, not just role players + picks.

I think I’m starting to understand things now. Alpi is the only one willing to tell KD to eff off but Dickerson has too much cache with the younger players. Even when he’s giving the ball to the other team over and over again…Reed, Amen, Jabari, and Tari would still bend over backwards to serve the ball at his feet. Ime knows this and that’s why he’s been wanting Reed and Amen to take charge and set things up. Hoping that they would look KD off and just run the offense instead of wasting 24 seconds trying to get him the ball. But Reed and Amen are part of the cool kids club now so they’re always gonna serve their master KDickerson. This cat has poisoned our team through and through.

 

This may be the only guy we can get in a trade with Durant. We would probably have to throw in a pick.

 

i cant stand this dude. He has no idea how to empower his teammates.

 

The fans have seen the solution all year. Durant is seeing the same thing. Ime is the problem. The fact they he says he needs to get off the ball tells me that Ime is just rolling the ball out and saying you guys figure it out. Even mentioned Reed an Amen should be initiating more.

Ime is the coach it’s not on Amen and Reed to force the sets to change. That’s just ludicrous.

 

Been saying this for about a month now. While it seems like rooting for the Rockets to lose goes completely against what a true fan should be doing... if we're honestly thinking about the going concern and long-term outlook of this team, then the best thing that can happen given the current situation is for Ime and the Rockets to get completely embarrassed to end the season and force ownership/management to change something (ideally the coach and senior leadership of the team).

If not for some drastic change, this team is going nowhere for the next handful of years with stunted growth from our young core and then we'll be stuck in no man's land/late lottery for the next decade.

 

Reed would be abandoned by Ime if he had same turnovers as KD or bricks as Tari.

 

Someone needs to step up and tell him that we don’t need him.
