2) hire a Presti protege at 2x the market cost

3) tank properly, swapping current squad for picks

Look into KAT for a stretch 5

Porzingis? I think Adams + Tari S&T would work

Really think all we need is a PG upgrade & stretch 5. Draft Nets 27’ and retool once a couple big contracts off the book

 

Dont see the Hawks giving up that pick for Sengun.

This would make us a better team though.

I'm okay with trading both Sengun and KD for the right pieces. These are pretty bad pieces in my opinion. You trade the second and third best players in the trade and get a pupu platter that might be able to shoot okay.

If I'm trading Sengun and KD then I want a potential superstar or two and a draft pick in 2026. That might be a big ask but to trade both needs a lot back. This would trade our two best offensive players for Quickley and Portis. Turner is a center that can't rebound or score (he can shoot and block shots). People on this board regularly overrate NAW and I'm not sure why. Okongwu is a good player but maybe a #3 on a contender. That's not cutting it.

 

I don’t believe there is anyone from our young core that’s worth scrapping everything to build around. There may be other reasons to scrap everything, but it’s not to build around someone already on this roster imo
