They're not bound by a common ideology. In many of their manifesto's, they were complete polar opposites. So you can clearly say it's mental illness or autism, but the only similarity is the color of the skin. With Islamic attacks, it's all the same ideology. Everyone yells allahu akbar. Everyone follows the same doctrine of Hamas, including the guy who went to a pop star concert to blow up kids in the UK. There are literal excerpts from the Quran, and the Muslim brotherhood preaching it in mosque's in the US, that give instructions to do this. And the scale of it is far greater. If you take all the "white shooter" attacks and pretend it is 1 ideology (which it is clearly not), it doesn't come to 0.5% of all the islamic killings. Many experts will tell you there isn't a difference between Islam and radical Islam and that it doesn't take much for a seemingly normal person to get radicalized.
