what I was trying to say is that you sent out Howard and Scruggs for Smith at this point. In addition to having to pay Ingram more money. Assuming Brown is being paid more as well so yes. You spent more money on your average players from last year. admittedly I am excited about Smith. I hope they work something out with Teller.

He's been injury prone. I would reather take my chances with a drafted rookie at LG, or drafting an OT, let them split time with Brown and move Smith to LG as a last resort.
Doesn't matter how much money they have spent. They have the same below average line they had last year.
YYEESSSSSSSSS!.... good job BDN I know he looks like a journeyman, but he has all the tools to be successful IOL. He is a Waltzing Rhino IYKYK

I hope to see a guard, a center and either a DT or CB with our first three. I k ow CB is not the popular pick but I don’t have confidence in anyone behind Stingley and Lassiter. Although I wouldn’t reach. If we wait another on CB I’m good with it.
you get what u pay for…this yr’s Laken Thomlinson. Bargain basement again. They never learn. Still, better than nothing?
I'm just so disappointed. I was hoping to get at least two of the best FA for our OLine, especially after trading Howard.
He is a backup currently... if they give him a legit chance, I think he can beat out Andrews for starting center
I'd prefer a better center too. Regardless, I worry a couple rookie picks won't be enough to give us a top tier offensive line this year. I also worry DeMeco will pick another defensive player instead of the best guard or center available in our first two picks.
Should not have signed rankins, Blankenship, Speed, Jones, Hall, Robinson, Hummel or Stewart. Get all that stuff in the draft and save the money for real offensive linemen.
This is from rotoworld... totally neutral analysis Texans agreed to terms with G Evan Brown, formerly of the Cardinals, on a one-year, $3.5 million contract. Browns was released by the Cardinals on Thursday and quickly finds a new home in Houston, where he could push for a starting role on the interior offensive line. The seven-year veteran bounced around the league his first two seasons before starting 68 games between 2021 and 2025. The low contract valuation appears to be a steal for the Texans.
We can't pencil in anyone anywhere but I'm happy they're trying to fix the line. I still expect them to draft a center and left guard, we gotta wait and see how this shakes out
