It was bad. The fact that you’re excusing his play or trying to rewrite history is weird. The defense bailed him out again
I really like CJ and ultimately think he'll still be our QB for the present and future...but, yeah...there's no way to look at either of those 2 playoff games and say anything other than he was absolute crap.
He was 8/12 on third down for 152 yards and 7 first downs. He wasn't bad at all. He had bad *moments*.
Look at the ****ing stats. It wasn’t that bad. No one is excusing his play. 21/32 250 7.8 1TD 1INT… 62.2 86.7 Those numbers are fine
Do you really think Caserio said, hey lets go out and sign a bunch of defensive players in FA? I've been trying to tell y'all this is Meco's team. He's making the final calls on the players on this team. After today this should be abundantly clear.
No...like your political takes, you are blinded by bias. He wasn't great in the Steelers' game, but he wasn't bad at throwing the ball.
He turned the ball over 7 times in 2 games. Ask any coach at any level of football if that's really bad.
Pay attention. I am talking about the STEELERS game. He was 8-12 for 157 yards and a TD on 3rd down. That was very good.
He fumbled the ball too many times in the Steelers game but he did pass the ball well. His passing was atrocious during the Patriots game.
He is shell shocked and done. Choked in the playoffs. We need to move on, but it ain’t gonna happen this season. The Texans would be crazy to extend him before next season pans out. If he turns it around with an improved line (doubtful) then you can consider the extension.
Could have missing his 2 best weapons in the freezing rain with a bunch of pressure up the middle? Or the lack of run game to help take the pressure off? He didn’t play well, but he had no help.
