    pitre isn’t a safety and ward, Gardner was cut. We played with our 5th string safety for 3 games last year. We needed a safety for sure

    We played with our 5th string safety and were the top defense in the league. If we had infinite assets and no salary cap, I might think differently about this.

    Texans are going IOL in the draft. Guard/Center in 2 of the 1st 3 picks. You can see it coming with the signings so far.

    you can't be mad at making an elite defense even better but come on, gets us some freakin linemen. how it looks right now, the whole league knows what we are drafting and who they need to jump if they have a lineman that has caught their eye.

    but does any free agent lineman change our stance in the draft at this point? probably not unfortunately.

    Pitre isn’t a safety. He’s thrived after being moved out of that role.

    don’t know anything about Blankenship but don’t oppose signing a safety.
